Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel was very clean. Only a few minutes walk from Metro Nation with links to all over Paris so very easy to get around. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Negative: My room was a little strange, I was in room 26, and there were a few things that made life difficult. One there is a sort of double door arrangement when you enter the room, both doors are heavy and when you're trying to manipulate a suitcase either going in or out it wasn't easy. Secondly, there was a green exit light over the door in my room, this was pretty much directly over the bed so the room was never dark, in fact, it was very light all night and I really found it hard to sleep. There was also only one very thin pillow and no option to have another, there was a spare blanket so I had to roll this up and use as an extra pillow. After the first night I thought the staff might pick up on this and provide another pillow but that didn't happen. Finally, the shower room also houses the toilet, but not the sink, the sink being in the main bedroom - but there was only one towel to serve both the shower and the sink, not the end of the world, but annoying when you step out of the shower to find that the towel is still at the other sink. All little things but frustrating when you have paid for a hotel.

Summary: Okay, and very convenient, I would be willing to stay in the hotel again but wouldn't want Room 26.
