Summary: The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was fine. The room phone didn’t work. The room was pretty bare bones. No ironing board or iron. What really made this stay so poor was the fact that my room wasn’t prepared for check-in until almost 6 PM. The girl at the front-desk said they were understaffed. Why book to a capacity you cannot accommodate?? I missed an event I had driven four hours to attempt and attend. I slept OK, noise wasn’t an issue and I was able to get myself clean. But maybe I’ve learned my lesson this time and need to exercise extreme caution when considering a stay at a small boutique hotel. Aura will not see me again.
