Summary: We spent two weeks in this wonderful apartment of Lucia & Silvio in Mira Oriago. It has the best equipment we ever saw in a vacation apartment (and we know quite a lot...) and Lucia is taking care of every single detail. She provided us with tipps and links on what to do in the area, dependent on our interests. The description of the apartment matches 100% to what we found. The apartment is situated at the border of Mira in a quiet, rural area. Despite that you can travel to Venice center in 35-45 min by bus 53E from bus station Oriago Centro. (24 hours or 48 hours Tickets including the Vaporetti (waterbuses in Venice) can be bought in the local tobacco shops. In June 2023 it was 25 EUR per person for 24 h unlimited usage.) Padova (30 min), Verona (1:15 h) and Chioggia (30 min) are easily reachable by car and there's so many more castles, small towns and museums to discover in that area. We would certainly like to visit once more and can recommend both, the apartment of our wonderful hosts Lucia & Silvio, and the Venetian area to discover... Thanks again for having us!
