Summary: Staying at Great Wolf Lodge was a good experience overall. Our family enjoyed it and decided to stay an additional day. There are some things to be aware of. Anything outside of having a room to sleep in and going to the water park seen to be all about taking as much money from guests as possible. I completely understand the business aspect of this, but it is just blatantly in your face obvious. Want to park your car? $19. Want to get pizza for dinner with the Fam? $23 for what you might normally consider a medium at Dominoes, etc. Want a fountain drink with that? $3.59 and it comes with a code to scan to limit you to just 16 oz. And, don't count on the machine to actually count accurately. My 16 oz cup half full of ice barely filled over halfway before the machine cut off and said I got all I was allowed. Don't even think about refilling it! Mini golf is $7/person. Not too bad, but I'm not sure why? I would feel much better about this if I paid a little extra to stay here and didn't get hit with charges for every little thing. Just makes me want to go off-site for anything else.
