Peschiera's old town, completely surrounded by canals, lies within a mighty, beautifully overgrown fortress. Strolling through the narrow streets you will find many nice shops and small bars. Peschiera has one of the few train stations directly on Lake Garda and is therefore easily accessible by public transport. There is also a small marina in Peschiera.
