Cozily sleeping even large groups (up to 9 or more!), a central living room and our 3 bedrooms allow for maximum comfort on a great tree-lined street. If our apartment came up when you searched for specific dates, it's available for you to book now!! Living Room: relaxing environment, brand new modern furniture, a super comfortable sofa bed, a table set near the kitchen to have a nice dining experience, and a brand new flat-screen LED TV equipped with a multitude of streaming options, and of course high-speed WiFi internet access. We also have an air mattress that can fit here. Our Kitchen features state-of-the-art kitchenware including subzero refrigerator and stainless steel dish washer, oven/stove, microwave; all pieces are brand new. Plenty of silverware and glassware, and pots and pans for cooking. Seating for 6 at the table which doubles as a great work table. French press. Electric hot water boiler (no plastic parts!). Plenty of tea choices stocked. Bedrooms: Featuring Tempurpedic-like SleepSaintly mattresses, two of them double, one queen, and on each three sets of sheets and HUGE personal closets for storage. We also have controllable heating for these colder months, with extra space heaters as well. And we like to read, so we have multiple lights to keep it bright while doing work, getting ready, or reading a book at night (bedside lights, too!) - Please note we DO provide all linens, towels, pillows, and plenty of extras of each! Additionally, we have: baby crib stowed in the apartment for those traveling with little ones, a bathroom that has plenty of storage and access from the living room and from one of the bedrooms, and includes accessories such as hair dryer, hair straightener, and iron and ironing board. Those items are located in the closet in the living room of the apartment. Bathroom has all essentials and more. We have all the basics! Guest Access: The entire apartment is available to you. Interaction with Guests: I am available to be reached at all times. I may not be physically able to come help 24hrs a day, but I am very accessible via phone. Don't hesitate to check in frequently, or to ask if you need anything! The Neighborhood: This area is great for families, young folk, and business travelers: it's quiet and safe, steps from everything and anything you need (see the 'Getting Around' section), and in a classic and authentic 'New York' area of town- one of the hippest in Manhattan. -East Village is a heavily arts-oriented area; keep your eyes open and check online for local events and shows at bars. -The area's history in the arts and politics has over time developed deep cultural and ethnic diversity, which is reflected in the fine establishments that speckle the bright tree-lined streets. -Within walking distance from the best bars, cafes and restaurants; check out our Guidebook for our favorites Getting Around: The apartment is centrally located, being within walking distance: Union Square, Flatiron, Midtown, West Village, SoHo, Greenwich Village, Gramercy, NoLita, and the Lower East Side, Kips Bay, Murray Hill and many great parks. Maps apps are great companions and will tell you how long it is to walk, train, or cab wherever you need to go. They also links to Uber, which is very responsive in the city, and cabs are ubiquitous. The metro is very reliable and efficient, and luckily the major subway lines are very close by. You'll find a map of the metro in the apartment and in the metro stations.
