Positive: A lovely hotel in the central square - a fantastic location. Early check in at noon was a bonus. The communication with the hotel before arrival was great, with quick responses to questions, and we found the owner and the staff to be very friendly and helpful during our stay. The instructions from the owner to get to the hotel in the vehicle-restricted area were very helpful (don't rely on Google maps) although the verbal instructions to find the nearby car park space were less so - it's the yellow painted parking spaces outside the main car park, not the blue spaces inside the car park, as I understood things! Anyway, having free parking only 5 minutes from the hotel was another bonus. Our room on the first floor was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The WiFi worked very well for us, including in the restaurant outside, where we enjoyed a very tasty dinner on our one night here. The breakfast was equally good - very tasty and plenty of it. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend the place.

Negative: All was good, but a kettle in the room would have been appreciated
