My Bahama Jewel is a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage located on the quiet Bahama Island of Eleuthera. It borders onto a very private gently sloping pink sand beach, just steps away, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and fishing ( great bone fishing flats).

The living area has flat screen smart tv, cable, wifi, and a full futon. The French doors open onto a large deck with a gas grill, outdoor table and chairs, ideal for outdoor cooking and dining.
We are located on the unspoiled island of Eleuthera which is about an hour's flight south of Miami or Fort Lauderdale and a 16 minute flight from Nassau. Our Property is right in the middle of the island and 20 minutes away from the Governors Harbour Airport and 6 minutes from the town of Governors Harbour. Our location offers a great place for exploring the island both North and South. There are lots of things to do here for those who like the island life. There is diving to the North and to the South. There are lots of undisturbed beaches in addition to the one at your doorstep, to explore, some of which are the famous "pink sand". For those who want to simply relax, there are lots of unspoiled spots to do just that, and you can snorkel just about anywhere here. This is a charming place off of the beaten path...friendly people and great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We have "Fish Fry" every Friday night and it is truly as if you have landed in the middle of a postcard. It is a time when locals and guests get together for homemade island food, beers and "punch",music and dance in the streets along a small bay next to picturesque Cupids Cay, which is the first settlement in the Bahamas. If you want to go to casino, this is not the place for you, but if you want a taste of island life, the way it used to be, we are a great choice and should you want a little more action, we are about a 40 minute drive from Harbour Island, vacation area of the rich and famous, which is a great day trip.
