Our house.
We are a Chilean couple living in Brazil for over 40 years, willing to welcome you and serve you with friendliness and energy during your stay in this place, being your guides on your walks through all the tourist spots in our region. Petit Hostel Carolina is a cozy and relaxed family home, with a unique atmosphere, where you can enjoy good times with your family and friends and still feel at home! Welcome!
We offer a personal and special attention to our guests, hoping that every minute of your stay with us will be unique and memorable!
We have 4 shared guest rooms. We can accommodate a maximum of 20 people at a time. Bathrooms are shared. We are available to provide various information, however the guest has freedom of movement and privacy, observing the policies of the house, as if he were in any other professional accommodation. Rates include an exquisite breakfast, served from 6:00 am to 8:30 am, and includes coffee/tea/milk, cake, bread and others, fruits and natural juices. If guests have specific needs in terms of schedules, services or food, we recommend that a prior consultation be made to verify the possibility of serving them.
Our home is in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Macaé is an interesting place to visit for its natural beauties, historical attractions, popular culture, etc. In Macaé you can practice several activities: Surfing and rafting, etc... The nightlife is lively with many bars at Praia dos Cavaleiros and Parque Aeroporto as well.
The Hostal welcomes guests until 10:30 pm. It opens at 5:30 am.
Children are not allowed, our target audience is people who come for work, courses and leisure.
The use of drugs or alcoholic beverages of any kind is not permitted. Fights, discussions, people strangers to the guests. The time to keep silent starts at 10:30 pm out of respect for guests.
It is the responsibility of the guests to keep the rooms tidy and clean, they must also take care of the water and electricity.
Bed linen and towels are changed once a week if not requested beforehand.
Our house is located in the north sector of the city, with beaches close to the city, a wonderful mountain range. The house is on a dead-end street, etc. It is a 3 storey house and the accommodation is located on the first floor and above.
Oh! at home we have our little pet.. a beautiful and affectionate Shihtzu called ATHENA who lives with the guests.

This room is independent, has a door but those who sleep in it must use the shared bathroom for 7 people.
It has its own television.
