Main Bluewater lake front cottage - 2 levels, 5BR/2BA, fully-equipped kitchen with modern quartz countertops and a Weber grill provide easy meal prep. Enjoy spectacular sunset meals overlooking Lake Michigan from the outdoor deck/dining area (seats 6+), a large farmhouse dining table (seats 10) and a shaded flagstone back patio. Snooze or read in a 3-season enclosed screen porch with sunset views. Linens/towels, beach chairs/umbrellas and numerous books, games, puzzles and toys - just bring bathing suits and groceries. No A/C, but the cottage is perched high on a dune with lots of windows, fans and cross breezes for comfortable sleeping throughout.

Pass by an outdoor shower (for easy beach clean ups) and down private stairs to a fabulous wide, sandy stretch of private Lake Michigan beach front for sunbathing, volleyball and multiple bonfire pits perched on the scenic dunes for s’mores/hot dogs (roasting tools, abundant firewood provided). Explore trails that lead to Pigeon Lake frontage/docks and other association amenities – new tennis/pickle, basketball courts, children’s play spaces, shuffleboard, quaint trails, and excellent biking paths leading to Holland and Grand Haven. A short walk leads to Sandy Point Beach House for excellent patio dining with nightly entertainment.
6-7 night minimum stays for prime Summer 2022 season (mid June-mid Aug), with lower Spring and Fall 2022 rates and shorter minimum stays. We continue to space guests for heightened cleaning and sanitation, and asking guests to abide by Ass'n rules for safe distancing, masking and hand sanitizing in public contact areas. Upper level Bluewater is wheelchair accessible (but not fully ADA accessible).
ABSOLUTELY NO large, loud gatherings or weddings. NO pets or smokers, please. We are part of a charming, tightly knit and very closely-situated community of small cottages (where noise travels easily) with nearby neighbors who enjoy this quiet beach-front setting. Bluewater, Pine Cone and Pine Nut are part of a historic private cottage association (since 1906) surrounded by a combination of unique turn-of-the-century classic cottages and new homes, rolling dunes and wooded trails, with access to Pigeon Lake, docks, newly resurfaced tennis courts, beach volleyball, superb hiking and bike trails, children's play areas, beachfront fire pits (stacks of wood provided) and picnic tables. 15 minutes' drive to loads of excellent dining options, breweries (New Holland, Big Lake, Odd Sides, etc.), antiques and art galleries, Holland Farmer's Market, blueberry picking and quaint shopping in nearby Holland, Grand Haven, Saugatuck and Douglas. 45 minutes to Grand Rapids dining, breweries (Founders, The Mitten, Brewery Vivant) and exceptional cultural offerings (Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids Museum, Ford and Grand Rapids Children's Museum, etc.).
