Summary: The hotel is in a good location, and the overall lobby, bar, restaurant and live music are great. However, the air conditioning barely worked throughout the hotel. It was almost 34 degrees some of the days during our stay and we could never get our room cold enough and there was no cold water you could use for the shower. It was difficult to find any relief from the heat! Overall the room smelled strongly of mildew due to the moist humidity. Additionally the rooms were on the small side and felt a bit tired. The lighting in the room was very poor and when attempting to turn on one of the lamps it actually gave me a mild electrical shock. Overall the location is good and the overall “aesthetic” but there are some items I couldn’t look past in terms of overall comfort and functionality for the price and I wouldn’t stay here again for that reason.
