Our home was built in 1899 and is the last townhouse on a row of six, directly adjacent to a large city playground with basketball courts, jungle gyms, and summertime water features.
The apartment is completely separate from the rest of the home, with its own private entrance to the front courtyard.
As you enter, you'll walk into a small foyer. One bedroom with a queen sized bed and large closet is located on the left.
Proceeding down the hall, the bathroom is located on the left. It features brand new fixtures and a spacious shower with sliding glass doors.
The kitchen, living room, and dining area are all located together in one large room in the center of the space. The kitchen features a 5-burner gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, large refrigerator, garbage disposal and washer and dryer. The living room has a 42" flatscreen HD television with Direct TV and wireless internet is available throughout the apartment.
Past the kitchen and living area is the second bedroom, which features a full size bed.
There is a queen sized inflatable bed in the front bedroom closet and also a toddler sized mattress also located in the front bedroom.
The apartment will sleep 4-6 people easily and potentially more by request.
The apartment has its own washer and dryer in the unit and features a full kitchen with gas range, microwave oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and full size refrigerator/freezer.
We also have a pack 'n play for families staying with little ones, which is available by request.
Wireless internet is also available throughout the apartment.

However, we live on the two floors above the apartment and are very friendly and available to interact with guests if they prefer.
The neighborhood is very safe and family orientated. It is nestled between Prospect Park and the historic Greenwood Cemetery. A city park is located directly next to the apartment and a full size grocery store is only two blocks away. Ft. Hamilton Parkway which is two blocks to the north of us has a number of great restaurants and coffee shops.
The closest subway stop is the Church Ave F/G train which is located 1 block south and 1 block east of our address. The B16 bus is also located directly across the street from the apartment which runs directly up the westside of Prospect Park.
This rental is suitable for all types of visitors, however we feel it is particularly suited for families looking for a longer stay.
Also the rental may not be suitable for very tall people, as it is a garden level apartment. The ceiling height is around 78" throughout most of the space, but does dip down to around 72" in some places.
