Important things to know when planning a trip to Exuma:
- Renting a car is highly recommended. Almost all of our guests rent cars for the duration of their stay and it is the best and easiest way to explore the island. Additionally, Exuma is unlike other islands - golf carts are not a typical form of transport on the main roads.
- Protect yourself from the unpredictable. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip that protects against any unexpected travel disruptions or delays. We’d be happy to recommend specific providers.
- Thinking of a boat rental? Boat rentals on Exuma are typically daily rentals only (no overnights). Therefore, it may not be necessary to pick your house based on the presence of a dock. If you’re bringing your own boat and your property doesn’t have a dock, please identify your closest Marina (beginning of description).
- Plan ahead: Restaurant reservations are recommended for peak seasons, particularly for large groups!
Other Rules:
No parties. No exceeding guest count on property. Minimum 7-night stay over peak or holiday seasons and/or weekend to weekend bookings. Christmas (night of the 25th) and New Years Eve (night of the 31st) cannot be booked together, except for stays of 14 nights or longer. Instant bookings are subject to 24-hour review to ensure adherence to house rules.Note: A 3% non-refundable processing / administrative fee on the total value of the stay will be due for all cancellations. Fee will be waived if the booking is moved/shifted to future dates without cancelling.
