Summary: This was our 2nd trip to the Exumas. We chose to stay at The Osprey again, since our first time there was so lovely. The stay this time was even better. Communication with the host was excellent. I contacted him frequently during our visit with questions. His response was prompt, helpful, & courteous. The owner had also expanded their furniture options to include new tables, couches, dressers, & barstools...all of them beautiful, comfortable, & practical. Since we stayed longer, we utilized more of the items & equipment supplied by the host, including large drink cups w/ lids & straws (Brea's was willing to pour our purchased drinks into these, rather than the smaller disposable cups), cookware, induction stovetop double-oven, & inflatables available in the shed. Like last time, the AC worked beautifully. The beds were very comfortable & the rooms spacious enough for luggage. The view is gorgeous & unobstructed (no other homes between you & the water). Brea's Delight is next door (maybe 30 steps from the house). They make wonderful drinks (love the Shark Bite & Frozen Mango Daiquiri, but the Island Rum Runner, Goombay Smash, & Bahama Mama make close competition). Their food is scrumptious (Conch Fritters are a must-try). Being located right next to Brea's alone is worth it to stay here. Add to that the view, proximity to the water of our favorite beach (crystal clear, electric blue water), cleanliness & comfort of the house...it cannot be beat. We will be back.
