Welcome to your Prime Hook Beach retreat — a fully remodeled cottage where the Delaware Bay is just steps away and the wildlife refuge is right outside your back door.
Cross the street and you're on a beautiful, serene private beach. Spend your days sunbathing, swimming, fishing, or strolling the shoreline. When you're ready to come in from the sun, the real showstopper awaits: brand-new sliding glass doors in each bedroom open directly onto a huge screened-in deck overlooking the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. Nature lovers and birders will be in heaven — settle into one of the comfortable chairs and watch migratory birds and wildlife pass through. When the weather is perfect, leave the doors open and fall asleep to the sounds of nature drifting in.
Sleeping:
The main bedroom has a king mattress and the second bedroom has two twin beds — both dressed in premium Boll & Branch sheets. The living room sleeper sofa (queen, with sheets provided) comfortably fits additional guests.
Kitchen:
The full kitchen has everything you need, including a Ninja Foodie Instant Pot, Nutribullet blender, coffee maker, toaster, and a full set of dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware. The large refrigerator comes with an automatic ice maker. Step out to the small side deck just off the kitchen for a morning coffee or to rinse sandy feet after the beach.
Extras:
Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. High-speed internet and a 55" Samsung Smart TV with Bose audio round out the living room. Lewes, Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, and Ocean City MD are all a short drive away. Milton (10 minutes) has restaurants, a grocery store, and two excellent breweries — Dogfish Head and Dewey-Harbeson.
Pets:
We welcome up to 2 dogs per stay (pet fee: $100/dog/week). Please indicate the number of dogs when booking — pets must be approved prior to confirmation. Note: beach towels and dog towels are not provided.
Pricing & minimums:
All fees included — no surprises at checkout. Peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) requires a 7-night minimum with Saturday check-in and check-out.
