Peró beach is located in the district of Peró in the city of Cabo Frio, in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro.
With 7.2 kilometers of extension, it is appreciated for the practice of surfing and other nautical sports. Of its 7,2 kilometers of extension, only less than 1 kilometer is urbanized, being the rest preserved with restinga vegetation. In the urban center there are two shopping malls and the Moinho Square, main point of concentration of tourists. The district of Peró has the best residential condominiums of Cabo Frio and the best prices of this county. About 90% of the streets in Peró are paved and have water from ProLagos. Peró's buildings are only allowed on two floors, thus contributing to a fresh and excellent visibility, nothing preventing the circulation of the wind to make the Peró a hot neighborhood, and its temperature in the heat of summer hardly exceeds 30 degrees.
